Eating at Nothing But Noodles Is Using Your Noodle

Nothing But Noodles sits at 4257 Harrodsburg Road, in the shopping center on the other side of Chick-fil-A, just past Man o' War. We wanted to eat somewhere that involved sitting down and taking it easy after a long weekend of festivals, and deciding on this place was the best decision we had all day. If you went to the South Elkhorn Fall Festival, it is right across Madrone Way from the church. We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. It is a counter-order noodle place with a menu that runs from Italian to Thai, which is how my wife and I ended up with two completely different bowls on total opposite ends of the spectrum.

Eating carbs puts me in a good mood and makes me happy. There's actually a science to it if you got time to kill and know Google-fu. 🥷 After that, you're welcome. Tell them LexingtonKY.com sent you.

Not the other noodle place

Note, this isn't Noodles and Company on Nicholasville Road. I am sure this has and could get easily mixed up. What we went to is on Harrodsburg Road and a completely different company.

The spaghetti and meatballs

I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was fantastic! The sauce was thick and chock-full of flavor. They also gave you a good amount of meatballs. The breadstick is good for getting up the rest of that wonderful sauce after you are done, so don't eat it first. In all honesty, it was as good of spaghetti and meatballs as you'd get at an Italian restaurant in town.

The pad thai

Pad thai at Nothing But Noodles in Lexington with two breadsticks that look like chopsticks

My wife had the pad thai noodles. I begged for a forkful and she shared. I was lucky, I wanted a taste. Very flavorful, and saucy and a good amount of egg in there as well. Note, they have chopsticks if you want them. Those are not chopsticks in her dish. My wife confused them as chopsticks until she grabbed one. They are thin pieces of bread.

What it cost

Spaghetti and meatballs was $14 and my wife's pad thai noodles was $11.50. We both had a fountain drink, which was $2.95 apiece.

If you live nearby

If you live in Palomar or Beaumont, this is an easy weeknight spot a few minutes down Harrodsburg Road. And if you are at the fall festival next October and did not eat at the food trucks, it is a five-minute walk across Madrone Way.
